Job Title: Material Handler

Beaver Transportation Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Material Handler to load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment
  • Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products
  • Ship orders and pick orders and stock
  • Weigh materials and goods and make labels and attach to goods
  • Provide customer service and wrap goods and pack and unpack goods
  • Sort, crate, and stack goods and install, lash, and secure goods
  • Store cargo and materials and transport and distribute materials and goods
  • Organize and maintain inventory and organize inventories using computerized inventory control systems
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and work under pressure
  • Handle heavy loads and work with tight deadlines and physically demanding tasks
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail and hand-eye co-ordination
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
Weight Handling:
  • Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
