Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of grocery clerks and shelf stockers to provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Merchandise Management: Order and receive merchandise, authorize returns, and maintain accurate inventory levels to meet customer demand.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and efficient store operations.
  • Sales and Customer Service: Sell merchandise, resolve customer complaints, and provide exceptional customer service to drive sales and customer loyalty.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or inventory management role.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced retail environment with tight deadlines and heavy workload.
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
