About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Landscape Architect to join our Ontario design team and contribute to the growth and development of our expanding Landscape Architectural & Urban Design practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the growth and development of our Landscape Architectural & Urban Design practice
  • Contribute to current projects in a leadership role and help win new ones by being involved in all aspects of project delivery
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mentorship of early career professionals
  • Develop and articulate different design ideas and project concepts
  • Prepare and lead others in the preparation of proposals
  • Manage projects from start to finish, including site design, planting design, site grading, detailing, and contract administration
Requirements
  • Full Member in Good Standing with the OALA (or equivalent, with seal)
  • 8+ years of professional experience working in Landscape Architecture
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in core design and administrative software (CAD, Adobe, Office, etc.)
  • Ability to perform field work and observe projects during construction
  • Commitment to community and continual learning
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in MicroStation, Civil3D, SketchUp, Lumion, Revit, Rhino GIS
  • Valid driver's license
  • ISA Certification
  • Additional credentials in Accessible Design, Environmental Stewardship or other directly related to the practice of Landscape Architecture in Canada
  • Fluency in a second language (French desirable)
