Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Delivery Driver/Helper to join our team at Sleep Country Canada/Dormez-vous?. As a key member of our Operations team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our delivery services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Products with Excellence: Safely operate our automatic 5-ton trucks to deliver products to customers' homes, providing a professional, friendly, and enthusiastic experience.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Work together with colleagues to alternate between driving and helping capacities, ensuring seamless delivery operations.
  • Product Handling and Assembly: Handle and assemble products into customers' homes, adhering to health and safety procedures.
  • Paperwork and Administration: Complete required paperwork for each delivery, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Operations Support: Collaborate with the Operations team to exceed goals and expectations, driving business growth and success.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Physical Abilities: Physical ability to lift and move large items up to 88lbs (40kg).
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible shift, including evenings and weekends.
  • Problem-Solving: Think quickly and tackle problems effectively.
  • Experience: Experience operating a 5-ton vehicle or larger is considered an asset, as is experience working within a warehouse or delivery environment.
