About the Role

The Employee Relations Specialist position ensures the effective integration of human resources and health & safety functions. In conjunction with the Site and Human Resource leadership, they have responsibility and accountability for managing employee relations functions, benefits administration, policies, procedures, and programs at the work site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fosters and promotes positive employee and labour relations
  • Establishes and maintains constructive communication and effective working relationships with management
  • Provides advice on employee relations issues to human resources leadership, management, and supervisors

Requirements

A university degree or college diploma in a relevant discipline such as human resources, business, etc. is required. A CHRP would be an asset. At least five (5) years of experience in Human Resources and Occupational Health & Safety in an industrial setting is also required.

  • Experience managing and/or leading employee relations activities in an industrial environment
