We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Ontario Inc.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare high-quality baked goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes, according to recipes and customer orders.
- Manage inventory and requisition materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Train and supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and safe food preparation.
- Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to meet customer demands.
- Ensure that all products meet established quality standards and are presented in an appealing manner.
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Organize and maintain inventory, including ordering and stocking supplies.
- Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods, including pricing and promotions.
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a bakery or related field.
- Permanent employment with 40 hours per week.
- Fluency in English.
