Job SummaryThe successful candidate will provide mobile critical care services to patients in rural areas, working collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to stabilize and transport patients to higher levels of care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide critical care services to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients in rural areas
- Collaborate with rural clinicians to stabilize patients and transport them to higher levels of care
- Work in a team environment to provide patient care and support
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain current skills and knowledge
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- Successful completion of an accredited critical care training course and/or certificate, a minimum of three years recent related experience caring for critically ill/injured patients
- Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support
- Current valid BC Driver's License
