Description

As an Epicor Kinetic Implementation Specialist at Davis-Standard, you will manage the technical implementation of our ERP solution, working closely with 3rd party consultants to drive the end-to-end process from business requirements to configuration and production deployment.You will be responsible for mapping data from 4 ERP/Financial systems to a single Kinetic instance, preparing and executing data loads, and collaborating with the implementation team to resolve any load errors.A key part of your role will be to verify any customization requests that cannot be handled by out-of-the-box functionality, scope new change requests, and provide timeline/effort estimates for these enhancements.You will provide functional solution support for all new process implementations, ensuring seamless integration with our existing systems.Support the solutioning team across all phases from instance design, configuration, testing, and implementation, providing expert technical guidance and advice.Understand the functional design as well as technical design and architecture to be implemented in the Kinetic instance, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of our ERP system.Review existing ERP systems and map critical functionality to standard Kinetic processes in conjunction with the consulting team, highlighting any functional and/or technical gaps between systems.Develop Business Process Management functions (BPMs), Business Activity Queries (BAQs), and Dashboards as approved by the solution design team, leveraging your technical expertise to drive business value.Provide support and maintenance to clients for day-to-day technical problems that may arise throughout the migration efforts, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal disruption.Advise the core implementation team of any major issues or roadblocks that arise and impact the project timeline, providing proactive guidance and recommendations.Led coordination and validation of any outsourced development and data extracts, ensuring seamless integration with our systems.Work in conjunction with the infrastructure team on environment setup, ensuring a stable and secure environment for our ERP system.

Qualifications:

4-year degree in a technical field such as engineering, finance, information technology, or management information systems.5-10+ years of technical and functional experience with Epicor ERP/Kinetic, with a proven track record of successful implementations.Experience with prior Epicor implementations, upgrades, and migrations, with a deep understanding of the Epicor suite.Critical thinking abilities to analyze existing systems and business processes, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for problem-solving.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with root cause analysis identification, with a strong understanding of technical principles and systems.Technical skills to generate Data Migration Tool loads, and Dashboards, with experience in Crystal Reports to SSRS conversion and data extraction from SQL and Pervasive databases.Previous experience in a manufacturing environment and working with Bills of Materials and Methods of Manufacturing is highly desirable.
