Senior Mechatronics Engineer (Electronics) - Grocery Pick Hardware

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechatronics Engineer to join our Grocery Pick Hardware Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced robotic systems for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex robotic systems, including end-of-arm tooling and robotic system design.
  • Work closely with our Robotics Software and Platform Teams to ensure seamless integration of designs into our larger system design.
  • Own critical portions of new projects, including design, development, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and characterize key sensor attributes and select appropriate integration hardware.
  • Develop and deploy multilayer PCBs, ensuring full competence in a major EDA package.
  • Design and justify electrical architectures, evaluating components and technologies against product and project requirements.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as an engineer in a related industry.
  • Track record of full product lifecycle ownership, from ideation to mass production.
  • Applicable skills in end effector design, industrial automation, or robotic work cells.
  • Experience with analog electrical equipment and machine safety standards.

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience with board level hardware interfaces and fieldbus technologies.
  • Practical experience designing systems for EMC compliance.
