Job Summary:

As a skilled Industrial Mechanic, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment at various locations. This is a permanent opportunity with Soo Foundry & Machine, where you will work under pressure and be physically demanding. The ideal candidate will be able to read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications, and will have experience with conveyor systems, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain machinery and equipment
  • Repair or replace defective machinery parts
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment

Requirements:
  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification
  • 5+ years of experience in machinery installation and maintenance
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Ability to work at heights, in noisy environments, and in confined spaces
