The Registered Nurse (RN)/Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in various settings, including acute, transitional, and home care. As a key member of the healthcare team, you will apply the nursing process to support clients in achieving their optimal health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services.
Requirements
  • Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM) or the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba (CRPNM).
  • Proficiency in both official languages (English/French).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS) certification.
  • Trauma Nursing Care Course (TNCC) certification.
  • Knowledge of Professional Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics.
