Our Video Sharing Platforms team is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and solve complex business problems by analyzing data and evaluating variable factors.
  • Lead complex integration and data solutions with broad scope and long-term business implications.
  • Create innovative solutions with high quality, cost effectiveness, and faster time to market.
  • Work with project teams to address data and computing challenges.
  • Act as an expert in large data manipulation and transformation.
  • Optimize and manage large databases.

Requirements:

  • Experience writing PHP.
  • Experience writing automated unit and functional tests.
  • Experience with relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases.
  • Experience in achieving high-throughput and high-performance computing (an asset).
  • Strong proficiency in a UNIX/Linux environment.
  • Ability to work on large projects and take initiative.
  • Readiness to deal with uncertainty and frequent project pivots.
