Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Supervise and coordinate the work of painters and decorators, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of painters and decorators, providing guidance and support to ensure that they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all work is completed to the highest standard, meeting the company's quality expectations.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety protocols are followed, and that the work environment is safe and secure.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders, ensuring that all needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in the construction or painting and decorating industry.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team. Proficient in CADD and other computer software systems. Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
