Northern Retail Store Director

Are you a motivated and experienced retail professional looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Northern Retail Store Director to join our team at Northern/NorthMart. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving store performance, developing and implementing action plans, and leading a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer service.
**Estimated Salary:** $85,000 - $110,000 per year
As a Northern Retail Store Director, you will be accountable for the overall performance of the store, including sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with the regional team to develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and improve store operations. You will also be responsible for coaching and developing your team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.

**Key Responsibilities:**
* Develop and implement action plans to drive store performance and achieve business objectives
* Lead and motivate a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets
* Collaborate with the regional team to develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and improve store operations
* Coach and develop team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles
* Monitor and report on store performance metrics, including sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction
* Identify opportunities to improve store operations and implement changes as needed
* Develop and maintain relationships with customers, community stakeholders, and local leaders to promote the store and build brand awareness
**Requirements:**
* 2+ years of experience in a retail management role, preferably in a high-volume grocery/retail environment
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to interpret a variety of instructions both verbally and orally
* Computer knowledge of Excel and Outlook
* Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a high attention to detail
* Proven organizational, planning, and prioritizing skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and superior customer service skills
* Must have the ability and desire to develop an in-depth understanding of Northern/NorthMart customers
* Demonstrates a personal and enthusiastic commitment to Northern/NorthMart's vision, mission, values, and strategies
* Highly motivated and adventurous with an appreciation for small-town life in a culturally diverse setting considered an asset
**Working Conditions:**
* Work in extreme conditions

* Will be required to stand for long periods occasionally
