Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team at Hay River Dental Clinic. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall success of our clinic.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct Initial Dental Assessments: Conduct thorough dental assessments to identify potential oral health issues and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Consult with Dentists: Collaborate with our dentists to ensure seamless patient care and make informed decisions about treatment.
- Take Dental Impressions: Take accurate dental impressions to aid in the creation of custom dental appliances and restorations.
- Instruct Patients on Oral Hygiene: Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized guidance to promote optimal oral health.
- Clean and Stimulate Gums: Clean and stimulate gums to prevent gum disease and promote overall oral health.
- Apply Fluoride Treatment: Apply fluoride treatment to prevent tooth decay and promote healthy tooth development.
- Remove Stains and Deposits: Remove stains and deposits from teeth to improve their appearance and overall health.
- Take, Develop, and Mount X-rays: Take, develop, and mount X-rays to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of dental issues.
- Remove Sutures: Remove sutures and other dental materials as needed.
As a Dental Hygienist at Hay River Dental Clinic, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a team of dedicated professionals. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and develop your skills in a supportive and collaborative setting.
Requirements- Dental Hygienists Licensure: Hold licensure as a Dental Hygienist from the appropriate provincial or territorial governing body.
- Basic Security Clearance: Possess basic security clearance.
- Health Care Plan: Comprehensive health care plan.
- Free Parking: Free parking available on site.
- On-Site Housing Options: On-site housing options available.
- Work Term: Permanent: Permanent full-time position.
- Work Language: English: English language proficiency required.
