- Clean and Stimulate Gums: Clean and stimulate gums to prevent gum disease and promote overall oral health.
- Apply Fluoride Treatment: Apply fluoride treatment to prevent tooth decay and promote healthy teeth.
- Remove Stains and Deposits: Remove stains and deposits from teeth to maintain a healthy and aesthetically pleasing smile.
- Take and Develop X-rays: Take and develop X-rays to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Remove Sutures: Remove sutures and provide post-operative care to patients.
- Dental Hygienists Licensure: Hold current licensure as a Dental Hygienist from the appropriate provincial or territorial governing body.
- Basic Security Clearance: Possess basic security clearance.
- Physical Capabilities: Possess the physical capabilities to perform the duties of the role, including standing for extended periods and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Personal Suitability: Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
