Senior Caregiver Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Caregiver to join our team at MASO Recruit in Waterloo, Ontario.

Job Summary

As a Senior Caregiver, you will provide exceptional care and support to a senior client with cancer, stage 4, in their home. Your primary responsibilities will include administering medications, assisting with bathing and personal hygiene, and providing companionship.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications as prescribed by the client's physician
  • Assist the client with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
  • Provide companionship and engage in activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Shop for food and household supplies
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Two years of experience in a caregiving role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
What We Offer
