Job Title: Caregiver

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at MASO Recruit in Waterloo, Ontario.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide exceptional care and support to a senior client with cancer, stage 4, in their home. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in caregiving and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care
  • Administer medications
  • Assist client with bathing and personal hygiene
  • Assist in regular exercise, such as gentle walks
  • Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of the householder
  • Feed or assist in feeding
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Plan therapeutic diets and menus
  • Provide companionship
  • Provide personal care
  • Shop for food and household supplies
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Requirements:
  • Two years of experience in caregiving
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Language: English
  • Must be able to live-in
What We Offer:

Competitive hourly rate of $20.00 to $25.00

40 hours per week
