Produce Department Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Produce Department Manager to lead our team and drive sales in the produce department at Walmart Canada.
Key Responsibilities- Merchandise Management: Receive and process merchandise, utilize equipment effectively, and maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Visual Merchandising: Ensure the sales floor is visually appealing by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out-of-date goods, and setting up and maintaining product displays.
- Team Leadership: Participate in the recruitment, selection, training, and development of Produce Associates, and lead by example by providing excellent customer service.
- Inventory Management: Complete all aspects of the Produce Store Within A Store (SWAS) planning, attend SWAS meetings to review reports, and ensure in-stock and appropriate inventory levels in the produce department.
- Customer Service: Greet customers in a polite and friendly manner, assist with product inquiries, and promote products and services.
- Loss Prevention: Ensure proper handling of claims and returns, secure merchandise, identify high-shrink items, and maintain a safe work environment.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete and maintain required paperwork, such as inventory tracking reports, throwaway record sheets, invoices, and assignment notes.
