As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the game's economy, ensuring a fulfilling user experience through economic progression and rewards systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monetization Strategy: Collaborate with the development team to define a monetization strategy that brings value to players, and design an economic model that drives engagement and revenue.
  • Economic Balancing: Balance virtual products, player progression, currencies, sinks, and sources to create a engaging and rewarding experience.
  • Analytics and Improvement: Analyze metrics and suggest improvements to the development and live teams to optimize game performance and revenue.
  • Gameplay Loop Optimization: Suggest improvements to gameplay loops to increase player engagement and retention.
  • Design Documentation: Create design documents related to the economy that target acquisition, retention, and monetization.
Requirements
  • Economic Design Expertise: Degree in economic design or equivalent, with a strong understanding of Games as a Service gaming, including the latest innovations and trends.
  • Agile Production Experience: Familiarity with Agile production methodologies and the ability to balance complex game economic systems.
  • Monetization and Retention: Comfortable with monetization, retention, and virality concepts, and proficient with Microsoft Excel simulations and predictive calculations.
  • Analytics and Data Modeling: Knowledge of analytics software, such as Tableau, Mixpanel, Swrve, or equivalents, and the ability to analyze data analytics and adjust game concepts and economy balance to maximize retention, monetization, and virality.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
