Prodigy Education is a global leader in game-based learning, dedicated to helping every student in the world love learning. We're seeking a Senior Game Developer to join our team working on our flagship math MMO game, utilized by 7 million students monthly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop high-quality code to support engaging and educational gameplay suitable for children.
  • Collaborate with product owners, game designers, artists, and other team members to ensure seamless integration of game design and technical aspects.
  • Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, encompassing system design, code implementation, automated testing, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Offer technical leadership and mentorship within the team to foster a culture of high performance.
  • Optimize game performance to ensure smooth operation across various devices and platforms.
Requirements:
  • Passion for gaming and a minimum of 7 years of experience in game development.
  • Significant experience with live game environments, mobile gaming, and RPGs, along with a nuanced understanding of the unique challenges they pose.
  • Profound understanding of game development principles, design patterns, algorithms, and performance optimization.
  • Proficient in both building upon existing code and creating new systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling effective teamwork and the ability to explain technical details to non-technical team members.
