Job Title: Chef de Cuisine

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chef de Cuisine to oversee the preparation and cooking of meals in our busy restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Recruit and hire staff
  • Organize buffets and banquets
  • Manage kitchen operations
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 35 hours of work per week
