About the Role:
The Relief Pharmacist will provide pharmacy services and support to customers, medical practitioners, and other retail pharmacies working shifts scheduled by the Relief Coordinator. This role requires a strong focus on clinical services, including disease state management, medication reviews, and health risk assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical services, including medication reviews and health risk assessments
- Work with pharmacy assistants to prioritize technical functions and ensure efficient workflow
- Initiate care plans, follow up, and document patient information
- Coach pharmacy students and pharmacy assistants
- Collect patient, drug, and disease information
- Identify actual and potential drug-related problems
- Monitor medication adherence and provide patient counseling
- Exceed customer expectations through efficient workflow and superior customer service
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution
- Licensed Pharmacist in the province of responsibility
- Injection Certification
- Previous experience in a retail and/or retail pharmacy setting preferred
