Job Summary:

The Relief Pharmacist will provide pharmacy services and support to customers, medical practitioners, and other retail pharmacies. This role requires working within assigned territory, achieving excellence in patient-focused care, customer service, workflow efficiencies, and professional clinical services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical services, including disease state management, medication reviews, and health risk assessments.
  • Prioritize technical functions to Pharmacy Assistants when available.
  • Initiate care plans, follow up, and document patient information.
  • Coach pharmacy students and Pharmacy Assistants.
  • Collect relevant patient, drug, and disease information.
  • Identify actual and potential drug-related problems.
  • Monitor medication adherence.
  • Provide patient counseling for new therapy and determine patients' understanding.
  • Tailor counseling to patients' needs and concerns.
  • Exceed customer expectations through ROLES efficiencies.
  • Acknowledge customers promptly and professionally.
  • Demonstrate warmth, empathy, and compassion towards customers.
  • Provide superior customer service to every customer.
  • Understand all PROfile offerings and provide each customer with the program that meets their health needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
  • Licensed Pharmacist in the province of responsibility.
  • Injection Certification.
  • Previous experience in a retail and/or retail pharmacy setting preferred.

Compensation:

The pay rate for this position in British Columbia is $55.00, plus $2.00 premium. We will consider factors such as working location, work experience, and skills, as well as internal equity and market conditions, to ensure fair and competitive compensation.
