We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at The Curry Pot Indian & Nepalese Cuisine Ltd. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of culinary expertise, leadership skills, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement menus that showcase our South Indian cuisine specialties, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.
- Lead a team of kitchen staff to ensure efficient and safe food preparation, presentation, and service.
- Maintain high standards of quality, cleanliness, and organization in the kitchen.
- Order supplies and equipment as needed, while controlling inventory and maintaining records.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of events and promotions.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as an Executive Chef or equivalent in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Strong knowledge of South Indian cuisine, including menu planning, ingredient sourcing, and cooking techniques.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- A keen eye for detail, with a focus on quality, safety, and sanitation.
- Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
This role requires working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with regular exposure to heat, noise, and physical demands.
Compensation:The salary for this role is estimated to be between $50,000 and $65,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
