Job Title: Housekeeping Aide
Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to join our team at the Northern Regional Health Authority. As a Housekeeping Aide, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of patient rooms, common areas, and other facilities
- Empty trash and recyclables, and restock supplies as needed
- Disinfect and clean surfaces, equipment, and furniture
- Assist with laundry and linen services
- Participate in infection control and prevention initiatives
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous housekeeping experience an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects
- Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment
