Job Title: Housekeeping Aide

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to join our team at the Northern Regional Health Authority. As a Housekeeping Aide, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces
  • Restock supplies and linens as needed
  • Assist with laundry and linen services
  • Participate in infection control and prevention initiatives
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
  • May be required to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • May be exposed to chemicals, cleaning solutions, and other hazardous materials
