About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our team at Progressive Rubber Industries Inc. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a crucial role in assisting in the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Assist in the preparation of design drawings, specifications, and technical documents for mechanical installations and construction projects.
  • Inspection and Testing: Conduct inspections and tests on mechanical installations and components to ensure compliance with industry standards and company specifications.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to engineers and other team members on mechanical design, development, and implementation.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of design, development, and testing activities.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a mechanical engineering or related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, MS Excel, and MS Word.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
