Job Title: Mechanical Engineering Technician

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our team at Progressive Rubber Industries Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist in the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems and components. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects
  • Prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings, and specifications
  • Develop policies, standards, and guidelines
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures
  • Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized and able to work in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor skills
  • MS Excel and MS Word proficiency
  • Own transportation
Work Environment:

This is a permanent position with 30 hours per week. The language of work is English.
