At FirstService Residential, we're committed to delivering exceptional service and fostering a positive work environment. As a Senior Property Manager, you'll play a key role in leading our team of Property Managers and ensuring the smooth operation of our residential communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to Property Managers, ensuring they meet their goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with the Regional Director to develop and implement strategies that drive business growth and excellence.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of our properties, ensuring they're maintained and operated in accordance with company standards.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality of service.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Board of Directors, Property Managers, and internal departments.
- Mentor and support Property Managers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Conduct site inspections to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address them.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in laws, regulations, and industry best practices, ensuring our team is equipped to meet the evolving needs of our communities.
Requirements:
- Hold a General License in good standing.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field from an accredited college or university.
- 5 years of experience in residential, commercial, or industrial management, with 5 years of supervisory experience.
- Working knowledge of financial accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate multiple projects, and read and understand construction specifications and blueprints.
