Play-Based Educator for Junior and Senior Kindergarten

The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board is seeking a Play-Based Educator for Junior and Senior Kindergarten positions in our full-day Early Learning Program. As a Casual Registered Early Childhood Educator, you will work collaboratively with classroom teachers to provide high-quality education that supports enhanced learning and cognitive, emotional, and social development.
The successful candidate will have completed a two-year community college program in Early Childhood Education or equivalent. Registration with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators is required, and a minimum of one year of child care experience is necessary. Valid First Aid certification/CPR is also required.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing play-based education to Junior and Senior Kindergarten students
- Working collaboratively with classroom teachers to achieve goals
- Leading an extended day program (before and/or after school) at designated sites
