Purchasing Assistant

Fancy Pokket Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Clerk to join our team. As a Purchasing Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized shop and warehouse, preparing price quotations, and processing files and paperwork.
Key Responsibilities:- Keep shop and warehouse clean and organized
- Prepare price quotations and process files and paperwork
- Provide excellent customer service
- Calculate costs of orders and prepare purchasing files, reports, and records
- Prepare and maintain inventory control system
- Verify stock availability from current inventories and compile inventory reports
- Conduct quality control and liaise with Canada Customs
- Maintain stock rotation and monitor inventory levels of issued materials and stocks
- Pack items for shipping and distribution, place stock on shelves, and prepare inventory costs, retail pricing, and profit reports
- Reconcile physical inventories with computer counts and record the quantity, type, and value of stock on hand using a computerized or manual inventory system
- Verify receipts and packing slips
- Ability to distinguish between colours
- Attention to detail
- Bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
- Fast-paced environment and ability to work under pressure
- Handling heavy loads and repetitive tasks
- Organized, reliable, and a team player
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Permanent position, 40 hours per week, and bilingual (English or French)
