Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Ontario INC (Little Caesars Waterdown). As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely food preparation and service.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure accurate ordering.
  • Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring a positive and productive team dynamic.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to optimize inventory management.
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays to ensure presentation and quality standards are met.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service environment, with a willingness to train.
  • Permanent employment with 35-40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
