Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team at Spa 23 Fitness and Lifestyle.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Speech Language Pathologist to provide speech and language services to stroke survivors in Grey and Bruce Counties. You will work collaboratively with an interprofessional team to deliver innovative rehabilitation services in a community setting.

About the Skills and Qualifications
  • Member in good standing of the College of Audiologists and Speech and Language Pathologists of Ontario
  • Master's degree or equivalent in Speech Language Pathology
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
  • Clinical expertise and experience in stroke rehabilitation, including management of dysphagia
  • Experience in clinical assessment of swallowing
  • Experience working in a community setting
  • Ability to work effectively in an inter-professional collaborative environment

In this role, you will be responsible for providing client-specific consultation and education/training/in-services related to stroke rehabilitation for service providers, caregivers, and families.
