About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hairstylist to join our team at Chatters Salon. As a Hairstylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services to our clients, including cutting, trimming, coloring, and styling hair.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on beauty care treatments and analyze hair and scalp condition to provide personalized recommendations.
  • Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences, and provide custom hair and scalp treatment.
  • Shampoo customers' hair, shave and trim beards and mustaches, and provide other hair treatment such as waving, straightening, and tinting.
  • Apply bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses to color, frost, or streak hair, and apply hair extensions.
  • Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair, and suggest hair styles compatible with client's physical features and preferences.
Requirements
  • Hairstylist Licence
  • Experience in hair styling techniques, including blow drying, iron waving/curling, permanents, and roller setting.
  • Knowledge of hair coloring techniques, including bleach, dyes/tints, frosting, and streaking/highlights.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, and team player qualities.
