Job Title: General Manager

At HMSHost, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our QSR restaurant at Calgary International Airport. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of the restaurant, ensuring high operational and financial standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily restaurant operations, including staff supervision, customer service, and inventory management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with HMSHost policies, procedures, and brand standards.
  • Lead and motivate a team of restaurant staff to achieve business goals.
  • Monitor and control costs, including labor, inventory, and supplies.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and HR, to achieve business objectives.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in a QSR environment.
  • Proven track record of success in managing restaurant operations, including staff supervision and customer service.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of HMSHost policies, procedures, and brand standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on customer satisfaction and revenue growth.
