Senior Manager, IT Applications

Our team manufactures and markets a wide variety of pharmaceutical and health products distributed in pharmacies, healthcare practices, and hospitals across the country.
As a Senior Manager, IT Applications, you will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing, enhancing, supporting, and maintaining enterprise supply chain systems and services, mainly SAP-IBP (Inventory Business Planning). You will serve as a liaison between business and IT teams by facilitating communication and determining software objectives that align with stated and unstated business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with company stakeholders to understand supply chain processes and propose technical requirements for efficiency improvements to be implemented with SAP.
- Work in close collaboration with business analysts and users to understand their needs and different business requirements.
- Participate in the development of functional and technical specifications.
- Control all requirement gathering, solution design configuration, developments, and functional specification delivery.
- Provide expertise in the analysis of potential solutions in line with quality and safety requirements.
- Lead and manage a team of functional analysts and external consultants for the implementation of SAP IBP.
- Participate in prioritization of demands with the functional team and business units.
- Integrate rules, procedures, standards, and recommendations relating to GMP regulations, information systems security, and existing project methodology.
- Analyse data conversion requirements to determine data conversion strategies and mechanisms.
- Ensure the maintenance of documentation related to the configuration and development of SAP and other related systems.
- Plan and coordinates user support and training activities.
- Lead, coach, and support direct reports by setting clear goals, monitoring performance, and providing ongoing coaching and development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Experience determining the explicit and implicit needs and requirements of various stakeholders.
- Ability to quickly learn the objectives, structures, operations, and policies of a new business area.
- Strong problem resolution, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Demonstrated ability to engage both developers and business partners to achieve target outcomes.
- Proven interpersonal skills and an ability to influence senior leaders and peers.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing.
- Experience creating documentation such as business case documentation or business requirements summaries.
- Adaptability and a willingness to learn new skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business operations/IT Applications or related field.
- At least 10 years' experience in SAP systems.
- Experience with SAP IBP and integration to SAP S4.
- At least 5 years' experience in team management.
- Subject matter expert in at least one of the following areas: Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Sales & Operations Planning.
- Good knowledge of SAP modules related to Supply Chain.
- Good understanding of Supply chain processes.
- Good project management skills.
- Experience building and maintaining strong cross-functional working relationships with other departments.
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills with the ability to speak and communicate effectively with both senior management and front-line staff personnel.
- Good knowledge of French and English, both written and spoken.
