About the Role

Carmen Transportation is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and supply chain functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Logistics and Supply Chain Management
    • Coordinate and manage the movement of goods, materials, and equipment from one place to another.
    • Develop and implement logistics and supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Monitor and analyze logistics and supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking and reporting on inventory levels, stock movements, and discrepancies.
    • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce waste.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers, including responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Administrative and Reporting
    • Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports, including logistics and supply chain performance metrics, inventory levels, and other relevant data.
    • Perform administrative tasks, including data entry, record-keeping, and other duties as required.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Working Conditions

The Logistics Coordinator will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will be physically demanding and able to work in a repetitive task environment.

Language

The language of work is English.
