About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at 555 Wireless Ltd. as a Purchasing Agent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchasing and Procurement
    • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
    • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible prices and terms.
    • Manage the procurement process from initial request to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Supply Chain Management
    • Assess the requirements of our organization to develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure a stable and reliable supply chain.
    • Monitor and analyze supply chain performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Contract Management
    • Develop and manage contracts with suppliers to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Monitor and analyze contract performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and manage a team of procurement professionals to ensure the effective execution of procurement strategies.

Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as procurement, supply chain management, or business administration.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a procurement or supply chain role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and priorities. They will be expected to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the effective execution of procurement strategies.
