We are seeking a qualified Multi-Skilled Worker to join our Village team. As a key member of our community, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a safe and homelike environment for residents and families by performing various custodial tasks.
- Organize and participate in social and recreational activities to enhance the quality of life for our residents.
- Answer phone calls in a courteous manner and record and distribute messages accurately.
- Respond to emergency situations in accordance with established protocols.
- Assist with laundry services and maintain equipment in good working order.
- Prepare and serve meals, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation.
- Perform daily cleaning tasks, including tidying up common areas and resident rooms.
- CPR certification an asset
- FoodSafe certificate preferred
- Clear Vulnerable Sector - Criminal Record Check
- Immunization record
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- At least one year of experience working with seniors in a community setting
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
