Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Apparel Technical Designer. In this role, you will work closely with our product developers, merchandisers, and designers to conceptualize and execute our collections. Your expertise in 3D sketching, print, and pattern creation will be instrumental in bringing our designs to life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create detailed CADs for new product assortments, ensuring accurate communication of design intent across various colors and print/pattern options.
  • Develop and maintain style and collection overview boards, both physically and digitally, for internal presentations and team reviews.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Development Manager, Design Director, and PD Team to document the flow of samples through market fitting to development fitting, and record any changes made to the styles.
Requirements
  • College or Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in technical design, preferably in a specialty-size market.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Based on industry standards and location, the estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year.
