As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our operations. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Leader to join our team in Ft. Saskatchewan.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain a safe working environment, ensuring all employees understand and adhere to safety protocols.
- Lead site-specific strategic planning, setting goals and objectives, and measuring performance.
- Collaborate with regional leadership to identify trends and develop action plans to address.
- Manage priorities and time constraints, holding teams accountable for outcomes.
- Ensure completion of records and documentation as required, including preventative maintenance sheets and employee certification.
- Utilize systems to perform duties, including time keeping and filing reports.
- Develop and follow preventive maintenance programs for all applicable equipment.
- Maintain a positive relationship with customers, providing high levels of service and meeting set goals.
- Identify and recommend new services or assets to best serve customers and drive growth.
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated ability to use math, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
- Proven track record of positive safety performance and ability to meet customer safety requirements.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Willingness to work overtime and/or nights, weekends, holidays as needed.
- Experience in an industrial setting, preferably in an industrial switch yard or loading dangerous goods.
- 4th Class Power engineering certificate.
- Strong leadership courage.
- Effective coach.
- Self-starter with strong initiative to continuously challenge teams.
- Customer-focused and drive towards a win-win scenario when suggesting change or best practices.
- Creative problem-solving and entrepreneurial approach.
- Effective at managing and thriving in ambiguous situations.
- Person of integrity, capable of excellent judgment and decision-making skills.
