Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Supervisor to join our team at Sultan Construction Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction projects, supervising workers, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget
  • Recruit, train, and supervise construction workers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
  • Coordinate and schedule activities, including material procurement and equipment maintenance
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, and implement measures to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations
  • Recruit and support newcomers and refugees, providing them with the necessary training and resources to succeed in their roles
  • Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in construction or a related field
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and protocols
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a variety of locations, including construction sites and offices. The work term is permanent, and the work language is English. The hours of work are 30 hours per week.
