Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Foos Service Assistant to join our team at New York Fries. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing food items, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve food items, including portioning and wrapping foods, and packaging take-out orders.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, surfaces, and storage areas.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars, and replenish condiments and supplies as needed.
  • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, and handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, such as cleaning and maintaining the dining area, and assisting with inventory management.
Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
  • Will train on the job for new skills and knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
Benefits:
  • Permanent full-time position, approximately 30-40 hours per week.
  • Competitive hourly rate: $15-$18 per hour (estimated annual salary: $31,200 - $37,440).
