Job Summary

Puglisevich Crews and Services Limited is seeking a highly skilled Offshore Drilling Rig Technician to join our team. As a key member of our drilling operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our drilling rigs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drilling Operations: Assist in setting up, taking down, and transporting drilling and service rigs, ensuring all equipment is properly secured and maintained.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Operate and maintain drilling rig diesel motors, transmissions, and other mechanical equipment, performing routine checks and repairs as needed.
  • Hydraulic Systems: Operate hydraulic pumping systems, reading gauges to interpret conditions and adjust pumping procedures accordingly.
  • Drilling Mud Systems: Operate and maintain drilling mud systems and pumps, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Documentation: Write daily basic progress reports, detailing drilling operations, maintenance activities, and any issues encountered.
  • Chemical Mixing: Mix chemicals and cements as required for drilling operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Offshore drilling rig environment.
  • Health Benefits: Dental plan, health care plan, and vision care benefits.
  • Language: English.
  • Working Hours: 2190 hours per year.
