Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Rainforces Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the construction process, including loading and unloading materials, cleaning and lubricating equipment, and performing routine maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Clean and lubricate cranes, scaffolding, and other equipment
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, ramps, and barricades
  • Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on construction techniques
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications
  • Pave and rake asphalt
  • Assist in demolishing buildings and cleaning up debris
  • Perform routine maintenance work and clean up chemical spills
Work Environment

The Construction Laborer will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. The successful candidate must be able to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.

  • Reliability and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks
  • English language proficiency
  • 35 hours per week, permanent position
