The Royal Canadian Mint is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Hand, Boutique to join our team. As a key member of our retail and tours operations, you will be responsible for supporting the daily tasks related to the successful operation of the boutique.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the leadership of the retail store when the manager is not present
  • Prepare and adjust daily staffing schedules and oversee the flow of staff
  • Lead daily briefings and report on meetings
  • Complete daily required reporting for all systems
  • Ensure customer satisfaction for all visitors and retail clients
  • Support the Tourism Coordinator in various projects as required
  • Provide training and guidance to boutique employees
Requirements:
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is required
  • College diploma or certificate in tourism/hospitality or related areas
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in leadership, tourism/hospitality, and retail sales
  • Strong public speaking and sales skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and exercise sound judgment
