Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and caring individual to provide high-quality care and support to our clients in the Residential Care Unit. As a Caregiving Specialist, you will play a vital role in promoting the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assist with activities of daily living to enhance the overall quality of life for our clients.
- Support clients in meeting their physical, emotional, and psychological needs through effective communication and care planning.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and other care team members to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of each client's needs and preferences to provide personalized care.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge in caregiving and resident care.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) certificate or equivalent certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing high-quality care and support.
- A valid driver's license, where required.
- A Food Safe certificate, where required.
