Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Operations Manager to join our team at Flaman Sales in Lethbridge, Alberta.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily operations within the Service Shop to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Monitor shop efficiency, productivity, and quality control to maintain high standards of workmanship.
  • Solve problems and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues on agricultural and trailer equipment.
  • Maintain and repair equipment, trailers, and accessories to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Install new accessories and equipment as required.
  • Perform CVIP inspections to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Provide training and guidance to service technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Communicate regularly with Store Manager and Service Manager to ensure seamless integration of operations.
  • Complete all required paperwork according to company policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to build strong relationships and loyalty.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience as a Journeyman/Woman Heavy Duty Mechanic.
  • Previous experience as a supervisor or Shop Foreman is preferred.
  • Familiarity with agricultural and trailer equipment is considered an asset.
  • CVIP Certification is an asset but will be acquired by the employer if not already held.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve high performance standards.
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) to interact effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to safely lift, push, pull, or carry heavy products up to 50lbs as required.
  • Valid Class 5 License, clean driver's abstract, and criminal record check.
  • Must have own tools for the job.
What We Offer
  • $65,000 - $80,000 per year salary based on experience.

  • Full-time position with a regular 8-hour shift schedule, with some weekend work as needed.
