**Job Description**

As a Senior Mechanic Specialist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and performing vehicle repairs under minimal supervision. This includes brake, engine tune-ups, suspension, drivetrain, transmission clutches, and other repairs. You will also lead preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections, ensuring work orders are completed properly and accurately. Additionally, you will maintain records of all maintenance work completed, including parts and supplies used, and notify supervisors of potentially dangerous equipment and corrective action taken.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Diagnose and perform all phases of vehicle and equipment repair under minimal supervision.
  • Remove, overhaul, and reinstall mechanical components with minimal supervision.
  • Lead PMs, safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections.
  • Ensure work orders are completed properly and accurately.
  • Maintain records of all maintenance work completed, including parts and supplies used.
  • Notify supervisor of potentially dangerous equipment and corrective action taken.

**Requirements**

To be successful as a Senior Mechanic Specialist, you must have a valid mechanic license, a valid driver's license, and an appropriate tool set. Advanced problem-solving ability, computer skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential. Willingness to participate in ASE certification programs is also required.
